About Us

Trout Unlimited is the leading conservation organization working to care for their rivers and stream and help make them cleaner and our communities healthier.

The Tualatin Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited has over 500 members and supporters in the Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, and other nearby communities.

As a conservation organization, the Tualatin Valley Chapter:

  • Advocates for the protection of rivers and streams locally, as well as in unison with national TU priorities across the country.
  • Partners with national TU conservation staff, local and state agencies and regional environmental organizations to implement conservation programs, with a focus on work in TU’s Priority Waters.
  • Mobilizes the entire community to care for their waters.
  • Hosts regular events, social gatherings and local fishing outings that connect people with their rivers and streams.
