Bio:
I’ve worked at Northwest Fly Fishing Outfitters here in Portland Oregon for the last eight years, I guided in Alaska for nine summers at Goodnews River Lodge in Southwest Alaska. I’ve been guiding in Oregon now for over 10 years and I am a G Loomis elite ambassador, a hatch outdoors pro ambassador, and a scientific angler‘s regional pro. 

I started fishing carp in around this area about five or six years ago and I’ve slowly put a program together over that time. I fish the Willamette and the Columbia for them, and it’s all sight fishing. My boats decked out with a polling platform and a 20 foot push pole so we are typically fishing in 3 foot or less of water. The fish get big out there, well over 20 pounds and clients usually have quite a few shots throughout the day. It’s one of my absolute favorite things to do in the summertime.
