In my last message to our chapter, as President, I want to thank all TVTU members, our board members, our volunteers and donors for all you have done.  Your generous donations and constant effort has inspired me through my four years as TVTU president.  One of many things I learned as president is the importance of recognizing and thanking the people who are such great help to us.  I am most grateful for the support that you have given me as president.  Without your support and dedication, we could not have enjoyed the successes we have seen.  My term will end in November and we will have a new president for TVTU.  Please join me in supporting TVTU and making every effort to ensure continued success.

Another change to note, Jerry Lorang’s retirement from the newsletter editor position will also bring changes in the content and format.  Please join me in thanking Jerry for his years of excellent work on this.  I have enjoyed every issue.

Our November meeting will welcome Sarah Zwissler, Salmon SuperHwy project coordinator, as our guest speaker.  I have heard about this conservation project for years, but never heard much detail.  I hope you will join me at this meeting.  It should be an interesting evening.
