Tom Wolf, executive director of Oregon Council of Trout Unlimited, will cover recent changes at Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife and the Oregon legislature.  He will comment on election results.

Topic: Spring Fishing Opportunities 

 

Here in the NW we have so many great fisheries.  In this presentation Rob features some of his favorite spring fishing opportunities and offers tips and strategies for anglers to make the most of their early season trip.  This presentation covers: Lake fly fishing strategies, Deschutes River spring hatches, fly fishing for shad and spring steelhead opportunities.

Growing up on the banks of the Clackamas River, Rob Crandall has an inner calling to chase fish.  A fly fishing guide of over 25 years, Rob’s love for the sport is clearly evident.  You can find him on the great waters of Oregon like the Deschutes River, the Clackamas River, the Oregon Coast and many more.  Rob is an active presenter for fly fishing clubs and sportsman’s shows.  Rob is also the past editor of Flyfishing & Tying Journal magazine, a national publication produced by Amato Publications.  Rob is currently a contract tier for Spirit River Fly Manufacturing.   Also if you want to learn how to catch winter steelhead on the fly Rob’s new How-To-DVD is just now available!
