BOARD NEWS

Support! The Board recently made donations to the Oregon State Police Fish & Wildlife Divisions in the NW and Central Regions. We reached out to a member of each division and asked for suggestions on equipment that was needed to best assist them in their anti-poaching duties on the rivers and lakes in their regions.

Sergeant Chris Allori of the NW Division submitted a request for pontoon boats to better access smaller coastal and valley waterways that see pressure during closed seasons as well as trespassing. Sr Trooper Greg Love and his central Oregon crew requested equipment to assist them record illegal poaching activities for use as evidence for more solid court convictions; this will assist them in recording activities in the open desert spaces on our blue ribbon waterways more efficiently.

Be sure to help out these teams by keeping the TURN-IN-POACHERS hotline number handy on your phone – 1-800-452-7888. Have as much information as possible including dates/times, locations, vehicle description and license numbers, people descriptions and the alleged activities.
